A second STSD Edingburgh clan gathering is being organised for August 2012. As you will understand accommodation in Edinburgh during the Festival weeks is at a premium.

We have managed to reserve twenty twin and ten single rooms in Chancellor’s Court (part of Pollock Halls – the main student accommodation for Edinburgh University).

Although not on Princes Street, the campus is within a short bus/taxi ride or walking distance of most festival venues.

There will be a gathering on the morning of Friday 16th August, after which you will be free to book your own activities. We shall send you the web site for the Festival/ Fringe programmes.

It is proposed to have an early buffet dinner on Friday or Saturday before going to the The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Please note that this event is held regardless of the weather so be prepared to roast, freeze or be blown away!

It is essential that you reserve your place ASAP. Tickets for the Tattoo go on sale in January and we must book early. Room reservations will be on a first come first served basis and further details are below.

• The full cost of the Conference is £255.00 pp

• Single supplement £80.00 pp
  This includes 3 nights B & B, Tattoo ticket and buffet dinner prior to Tattoo
• We are holding 20 twin and 10 single rooms at this rate
• There are a number of rooms on the ground floor and there are lifts to all other floors
• A deposit of £50.00 pp is required by 19th February 2012
  
  
• Payment in full must be made by 30th June 2012
  
  
• It is imperative that Tattoo tickets are booked in January for a group of this size
• You must choose/book other activities for yourselves !
