Film, creative performance, screen writing and video production are all strongly linked providing skills which are playing an increasingly important part in the field of theatre studies. Theatre and film are entwined – many begin their career in the theatre and then enter the film industry and many actors transfer from acting on the stage to the screen.
The Workshop will introduce you to the technical skills of film-making using a sophisticated approach to exercises in screenwriting, how images are used to tell stories, acting on camera, directing behind the camera, in-camera editing and camera operation.
The day begins with arrival and coffee at 9.30a.m. and finishes at 4.00p.m.
The cost for the day includes morning and afternoon workshops, a buffet lunch and tea: £62 for members and £35 for students.
If you are not a member of the Society and would like to attend, please contact Rosemary Hopkins at rosytosy@hotmail.co.uk for availability. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP AND HOW TO BOOK A PLACE.
